Fire Damages Coal City Home

Damage is estimated at 50,000 dollars from a house fire Monday morning in Coal City.  Coal City fire said the blaze erupted just after 7 am in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street.   The flames were contained to the laundry room of the home and nobody was hurt.  There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
