Kankakee Puts Moratorium on Pop-up COVID Test Sites(Audio)

Is too much access to COVID testing in Kankakee a bad thing?  The Kankakee City Council says yes and last night they passed an ordinance placing a temporary moratorium on the issuance of business licenses to so called pop up test sites that don’t require any kind of medical licensing to operate.  Mayor Chris Curtis says that just one of the issues surrounding these sites.

Curtis says the council expects to craft an ordinance that would place more requirements on pop up test sites and should have that work completed in about a month and a half.
