State Van Distributes NARCAN to Area Residents (Audio)

In response to a series of overdoses and overdose deaths earlier this month, the State of Illinois’ “Wellness on Wheels” or WOW mobile unit was in town Monday to distribute NARCAN nasal spray and train people in how to use it. Kankakee County Health Department Administrator John Bevis says he believes the visit was a success

Bevis says that in addition to free NARCAN and NARCAN training that is available at the Health Department, the local Pledge for Life Partnership has lock boxes available to keep your prescription medicines safe
