12 Horses Die in Fire Near Bloomington

Fire departments from as far away as Gibson City were called in to help fight a fire at a horse stable in Ellsworth near Bloomington Saturday night.  Ellsworth fire officials say the stable was fully involved when firefighters arrived on the scene. There were 13 horses stabled in the barn at the time of the blaze, but only one survived.  Nobody was hurt, the cause is still under investigation.
