Jasper County Deputies warning

The Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Police have a warning for area drivers. According to reports, a woman told police she was driving on Route 10 near Demotte just before one this morning when her car was hit from behind by another car. The victim says when she got out of the car to inspect the damage, three men got out of the other car, pointed a gun at her and shoved her back into her car. The victim told police she was eventually pushed out of her car, hit in the head with a gun and the bad guys took off with her car leaving her alone on the side of the road. Jasper County Sheriff’s Police remind you, if you find yourself in that kind of situation, it’s best to pull over in a well-lit area and call 9-1-1.
