Fight at Kankakee High Brings Out the Mace

Security personnel at Kankakee High school had to deploy mace Wednesday when a fight broke out at the school.  Four students were reportedly involved in the fight, but six students reported the ill effects of the mace with one being taken to the hospital.  The Daily Journal reports that the officer spayed the mace after he was punched in the face by one of the combatants.
