One arrested after Rensselaer shooting

Rensselaer Police say they have one in custody following a shooting in the town over the weekend. Reports say officers were called to the area of Grove and Augusta Streets Friday night for a report of several shots fired in the area. When they got there, officers say they found one person that had non-life-threatening injuries. While no one was immediately taken into custody for the shooting, Rensselaer police report they had a suspect in custody by 9:30 Saturday night. Police have provided no other details.
