Bourbonnais Board begins Community Campus funding discussion

During last night’s Bourbonnais Village Board meeting, trustees took the first step in financing construction of the planned community campus project around the Municipal Center. Trustees had the first reading of the ordinance to issue bonds totaling up to 21-and-a-half million dollars. Bourbonnais Mayor Paul Schore tells us how the village plans to pay the bonds off

Trustees will vote on passing the ordinance at their next meeting in two weeks. Also at last night’s meeting it was announced the Village Police department raised more than 51-hundred dollars for Special Olympics during this year’s Polar Plunge.
