There’s a new judge in the 21st Judicial Circuit. Chief Judge Michael Kramer announced Friday afternoon that Brenda Claudio has been voted to fill the vacant associate judge position. Claudio has been an assistant Kankakee County state’s attorney since 1997 and will officially be sworn in to the position August second.
