Local Fire Departments Receive Grants

Three local fire departments in Kankakee County will receive funding through the Small Equipment Grant Program, administered by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal for equipment upgrades    The Bradley Fire Department will get $25,825, the Grant Park Fire Protection District will receive $24,520, and the Limestone Township Fire Protection District has been awarded $26,000.
