Man Shot in Kankakee over the Weekend

City police say a man showed up at a local hospital just after 12:30 Sunday morning with a gunshot wound to his thigh. The victim told police he’d been at a gas station on East Court Street when he ran into a person he’d had trouble with in the past. The victim told police as he left the parking lot another car drove past him and shot in his direction, but he couldn’t identify the car or tell officers what direction it was headed.
