Chicago Man Drives to Dwight with Dead Mother in his Car

We have a few more details today about that Chicago man that showed up in Dwight Monday with his dead mother’s body in his car. According to Dwight Police, officers were called to Northbrook Drive in Dwight just before 11 Monday morning where 53-year-old Marc Holliman of Chicago reported something had been stolen from his car. After talking to Holliman, he allegedly told officers he didn’t want to pursue the issue any further and left in his car. Just before noon, Holliman reportedly approached officers again, this time he was reportedly bleeding and officers called Dwight Fire for medical treatment. Before he was taken to the hospital, Dwight Police say they found the lifeless body of his mother, 81-year-old Juanita Holliman in his car. Grundy County Coroner John Callahan’s office says it appeared Juanita Holliman had died in Chicago. Chicago Police have charged Marc Holliman with First Degree Murder and concealment of a homicidal death.
