Pedestrian Hit on I-55 in Braceville

Illinois State police are investigating a hit and run accident on I-55 in the Braceville area this morning.  Braceville fire saying a man had run out of gas and was walking to a nearby gas station about 3 this morning when he was struck by a passing semi-truck.   The trucker kept on going while the pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.  Police are looking for the driver.
