Man arrested on Weapons Charges

A routine traffic stop Wednesday at W. Water and 8 ^th Ave. ended with one man taken into custody on weapons charges.  City police say when the officer detected the odor of burnt cannabis coming from the vehicle he initiated a search which turned up a semi-automatic handgun with a defaced serial number.  Under arrest is 23 year old Cornelius Corbett.
