Wheatfield Fires

Several fire departments came together to fight two simultaneous home fires Tuesday afternoon in Wheatfield, Indiana.  The blaze is believed to have erupted in an apartment house on Grove Street then spread to the home next door.  Nobody was hurt in the fire, but three families have been displaced by the fire.  The Rensselaer Republican reports the apartment building and the second floor of the home were destroyed by the flames.
