Kankakee Fire Responds to Overnight Fire

Kankakee City Police were called to the 500 block of North Cottage Avenue just before 10 last night for a report of shots fired. When they got there, officers found two vehicles that had been hit by gunfire. An anonymous caller advised that subjects possibly ran into a vacant home in the 500 block of North Cottage. Officers checked the property but didn’t find anyone.
