Shots Fired Sunday in Kankakee

Kankakee City police were called to the 1500 block of East Risson Sunday for a report of shots fired.  City police say upon arrival they discovered a vehicle with a bullet hole through the windshield and spent shell casings on the ground.  A short time later a man turned up at a local hospital with a head wound, but that turned out to cuts from the broken windshield.  The victim tells police he was just driving when his van was struck with the gunfire
