Shots Fired Calls in the City Over the Weekend

Nothing yet from city police today on scanner reports of shots fired over the weekend in Kankakee.  Around midnight this morning there was a call for someone in a car near Hobbie and Fair shooting out of a window into the air. And the city’s shot spotter system picked up the sound of gunfire Saturday in the 400 block of South Rosewood.  No injuries or damage has been reported.  We hope to have more from city police later today
