During last night’s Bourbonnais Village Board meeting, trustees passed a series of ordinances to buy bonds. Mayor Paul Schore explains
Also during last night’s meeting, trustees voted to award a contract to Gallagher Asphalt for the motor fuel tax overlay program for just under 328-thousand dollars, and awarded Grosso Construction a contract for just over 92-thousand dollars for the Village’s tar and chip program.
Following last night’s meeting we asked Mayor Schore for his thoughts regarding recently released census data
Schore said with much State and Federal funding reliant on population, the village will likely ask for another special census. Census data this year showed population down in Bourbonnais by 467 residents or about two-point-five percent.
