Charges Filed in White County Double Fatal

A Springfield, Illinois man who led White County, Indiana Sheriffs Police on a chase that exceeded speeds of 100 miles hour before crashing into a vacant home, killing his four month old son and the child’s 21 year old mother has had his first appearance in White County Court in connection with the August 8th crash.   23 year old Joshua Brown has been charged with neglect of a dependent casing death and two counts of resisting law enforcement causing a death.  Brown and his two other children who were also in the vehicle had be hospitalized.
