Pontiac Man Killed in Crash

A Pontiac man was killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon in Clinton.  Illinois State police say the driver of the car disregarded a stop sign on U.S. 51 and struck a semi.  Both the driver of the car and the truck driver were hospitalized.  The 87 year old victim was a passenger in the car and later died at the hospital.  The victim’s identity is pending notification.   The driver was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign
