West Nile in Grundy County

West Nile Virus has appeared in Grundy County for the first time this summer.  Health officials say the virus was discovered in a batch of mosquitoes collected in Braceville.  Authorities are urging resident to protect themselves from the virus.  Remember to Reduce, Repel and Report, you can find out more on that program on the Illinois Department of Health’s website
