Job Fair Thursday

Are you looking for a job?  With the extended 300 dollar unemployment benefit ending in early September, a Fall Job Fair is planned for Thursday at the mall.   County Administration Anita Speckman told yesterday’s Kankakee County Executive Committee meeting that they hope to fill a number of county job openings. There are currently 4,000 jobs available in Kankakee County in almost every sector.  25 employers will be hand at the fair looking for both full and part-time help.  Again, that’s tomorrow at Northfield Sq. Mall.
