Danville Woman Dies in Monday Morning Crash

A Danville woman was killed in a single vehicle accident this morning south of Crescent City.  The Iroquois County Coroner’s office says it happened about 12:20 when the 22 year old driver lost control of her Jeep at 1350 north and Rt. 49.  A preliminary investigation indicates the southbound vehicle crossed into the northbound lanes, went into a ditch and struck a guardrail causing the jeep to roll several times.  The woman, who’s ID is pending notification, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Three others in the vehicle had to hospitalized, one had to be air lifted from the scene.
