St. Anne School District 256 Reverses Itself after Suspension

The Daily Journal reports that The St. Ann School District 256 School Board has reversed itself and in a special meeting on Monday voted to comply with the governor’s state-wide school mask mandate. The board had installed a mask optional policy, but voted to except the state’s policy after receiving a letter from the state board of education saying the district had been placed on probation and the school’s sports teams would not be allowed to participate in post season games unless the district was in compliance.
