State Police OREP results

Illinois State Police in Ashkum report the results of Occupant Restraint Enforcement or OREP patrols held in Kankakee, Ford and Iroquois Counties Thursday. Troopers say the special patrols resulted in 39 citations and 17 written warnings. Among the tickets written, 26 of them were for seat belt violations. OREP patrols were paid for through grants from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
