Fire at RS Cryo in Manteno

Manteno fire fighters were called to RS Cryo Equipment in the 600 block of North Grove Street Wednesday.   Fire, water and smoke damage was all contained to one building after a large piece of machinery caught fire. The machine is located in a building made of concrete which made it possible to withstand the high heat that was generated in the blaze.  The building was previously used as a cafeteria at the old Manteno Hospital.   Damage estimates are not available.  No one was hurt.
