Shots Fired in Kankakee this Afternoon, One Hurt

Kankakee City police say shots were fired in the 200 block of North 6 ^th Ave. earlier this afternoon.  Police confirm that one person was struck with gunfire though provided no details except to say the victim is hospitalized in stable condition.  The investigation is ongoing.
