Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report a traffic crash Monday sent a man to the hospital. According to reports, the car driven by 52-year-old Daniel A. Muller of Rankin was nearing the intersection of one-thousand North and two-thousand East in Iroquois County when he swerved to avoid a deer, went into the ditch, hit a culvert and then a utility pole. Deputies report there was more than 15-hundred dollars worth of damage to Muller’s car as well as damage to the utility pole. Muller was taken to the Hoopeston Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
