KACC and St. Anne High Open Despite Threat

Sep 7, 2021 | 9:28 AM
The Kankakee Area Career Center and St. Anne High School are in session today despite a threat called in to KanComm last night. On its Facebook page, the Career Center says the threat was called in about 8:30 last night with a possible threat to both schools. The post, signed by Career Center Executive Director Matthew Kelley says the threat appears to be unsubstantiated, but both the Career Center and St. Anne High will both operate on a soft lock-down today with an armed police presence on sight and visitors will be restricted to both schools.
