Diamond Man Arrested for Strangulation

A Diamond, Illinois man is being held on 10,000 dollars bond after he allegedly tried to strangle a woman.  Grundy County Sheriffs Police say it happened last Thursday at an undisclosed location in Grundy County, the two are described by police as acquaintances.  44 year old Vern Howard is facing two counts of Aggravated Domestic Battery/strangulation. Both are class two felonies.
