After observing a vehicle drive at a high rate of speed through an alley and then blow a stop sign last night, police pulled over the vehicle in the 200 block of North Wildwood in Kankakee and ended up arresting the driver on drug charges. After pulling over, police say the driver, identified as 40 year old Terry Taylor moved over into the passenger seat and was seen reaching under the driver’s seat. When the officer opened the driver’s side door he found two plastic baggies torn apart and what turned out to be cocaine on the floor board. Marijuana and a scale were discovered in the center console. Taylor is charged with possession, destruction of evidence, driving without a valid driver’s license and more.
