Christmas Golf in September Held Today

The 17 ^th Annual Christmas Golf in September was held today at Oak Springs Golf Course in St. Anne.  The yearly event is the chief fundraiser for the Annual Free Christmas Day Dinner celebration held at 9 different locations around the county every year.   Jimmy Joines is the organizations treasurer and says they had another great turnout today.  When it’s all said and done they expect to have raised about 30,000 dollars today to be used to provide dinner with all the trimming to anyone who wants one on Christmas Day.  Over a 1,000 people usually take part.
