I-65 Crash Sends One to the Hospital

Indiana State police are investigating an accident on I-65 north of Lowell yesterday afternoon.  Police say the driver of a southbound Ford Focus lost control on the wet roadway and struck a semi.  Both vehicles came to a stop in the right lane with the Ford wedged under the trucks trailer.  The driver, 36 year old Jaime L. Wheeler of Wheatfield was taken to the hospital in serious condition.  The truck driver was not hurt.
