Wilmington Police ask for help to find missing teen

Wilmington Police are asking for help to find what they describe as a “missing and endangered juvenile”. Wilmington Police say 17-year-old Jacob Mackenzie was last seen Sunday afternoon in the area of Kahler Road and Sunset Drive in Wilmington. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes and was carrying a black backpack. Reports say Mackenzie’s cell phone was found with his abandoned car and it’s believed he was walking to meet someone in another car. Wilmington police ask anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jacob Mackenzie call their office at 815-476-2811.
