River Valley Metro today starts a new program to provide free rides on Mondays on its local fixed routes. Ken Munjoy is River Valley Metro’s Chief Operating Officer:
Munjoy says the hope is those needing the service will plan their trips on Mondays to use the system when there is no fee. The free rides only apply to the fixed local routes and includes the Metro-plus paratransit service. Munjoy adds River Valley Metro has a pretty extensive system.
