A man with a 10 million dollar bond on his head for murder was arrested in Kankakee Monday. City police say while investigating Monday’s shooting on Rosewood they stopped a man walking in the area at the time and found him to have the active murder warrant out of Vermillion County. 22 year old Darryl Jordan of Kankakee was taken into custody without incident, but later tried to escape as he was being transferred from the squad car to the county lockup. He didn’t get far. Jordan was tasered by officers and fell to the ground where he was handcuffed.
