Police Officer Hurt in Chase

A Fairbury police officer is recovering at home from injuries received over the weekend during a chase in Livingston County that began with a routine traffic stop.  The officer was hurt when his vehicle and the one he was chasing both went off the roadway on Rt 24 and rolled over multiple times in a farm field.  The two people in the car being chased were taken into custody.  There’s no word on their condition following the crash.
