The Kankakee County Health Department says there have been 145 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the County for the period between October 8th and 12th. Nearly a quarter of the new cases is said to be in people under the age of 18. There have been no new COVID-related deaths in Kankakee County in the last four days.
Iroquois County reported 49 new cases and no new fatalities in the past week.
