New ER Coming to Riverside

Riverside Healthcare is launching the first complete remodel of their Emergency Department in nearly three decades. Hospital officials say the 16-month construction project will better serve the community’s current and future needs, improve patient safety, and enhance the patient experience.  The new layout will include six rapid treatment spaces to help lower wait times for patients. Additionally, the new emergency department will offer two adjacent trauma rooms. This layout will help Riverside continue to serve the area as a Level II Trauma Center and treat severe cases more effectively.  During construction, the emergency department will remain open 24-hours, seven days a week.
