Camp Shaw-wa-naw-see in rural Manteno celebrates 75 years this weekend. Beth LaPlante is Board Secretary of the Camp Shawanasee association and she tells us what the camp is all about
A celebration of the 75th anniversary runs from two til seven tomorrow at the camp. LaPlante says there’ll be lots going on
There’ll be a 50/50 raffle as well. LaPlante adds while everyone is invited to attend, they do ask you go to their website to register, just so they make sure to have enough refreshments for everyone. You can find them at campshaw.org.
