Iroquois County Hit Hard by Rains

The national weather service has issued a flood warning for Kankakee County, and Iroquois and Ford Counties are under a flood advisory until Wednesday afternoon following extensive rainfall Sunday into Monday morning.  Illinois State police report flooding this afternoon has Rt. 45 closed between Onarga and Buckley.  Old 45 is closed from Clifton High School Road to Chebanse.  Rt. 49 is shut down between Crescent City and Rt. 9 in Rankin and most of Cissna Park is seeing extensive flooding today.
