Two More Die from COVID in Kankakee County

The Kankakee County Health Department Friday reported 2 more covid 19 fatalities in the County.  That brings the total dead locally to 269.   Another 87 new cases have also been reported since the department’s last statement on October 19^th.   Statewide, Illinois health officials reported 15,131 new cases of the virus over the previous week with 183 covid related fatalities.  Since the beginning of the pandemic Illinois has had 1.6 million cases of covid 19 with over 25,500 dead.
