The Iroquois Public Health Department has Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 booster shots available by appointment between nine in the morning and 3:30 in the afternoon Monday through Friday. The Centers for Disease Control recommends those 65 and older and residents in long-term care settings as well as those 50–64 with underlying medical conditions get a booster. Additionally, the CDC recommends those between the ages of 18–49 with underlying medical conditions and 18-64-year-old’s who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting get a booster as well.
