Suspected Burglars Arrested

City police arrested three people after they allegedly broke into a church in the 1500 block of East Merchant Street early Sunday morning and tried to get into another business in the 300 block of South Nelson.  The three apparently got into the church through a window then proceeded to smash windows and a mirror on the inside of the building.  City police say the trio never did get into the second business on Nelson but did manage to break the glass on the front door and a window of the building.  That must have set off an alarm because police were able to catch all three hiding behind the building.  Facing burglary charges are 19 year old Lawrence Hill and two juveniles.
