Braidwood Man Hit by Train

The Will County Coroner’s office reports the death of an 82-year-old Braidwood man. In a press release, the coroners office says William P. Armstrong was killed just before 3:30 Saturday afternoon when he was hit by a train at the intersection of East Main and North Washington in Braidwood. Armstrong was walking when the train hit him. Braidwood police are looking into the incident.
