Changes were also requested to allow drive up or walk up services to be offered “when indoor sales and operations aren’t allowed due to extraordinary circumstances”.
First District Representative Roger Hess spoke out against the changes and those concerns were echoed by 23rd District Representative Heather Bryan
13th District Representative Jacob Collins spoke out in favor of the changes
The motion to make the changes to the code passed by a narrow four-vote margin. In the last 10 months since it was legalized, there as been over one-point-one billion dollars in recreational pot sales in Illinois
