State Police Plan Special Patrols

Illinois State Police in Ashkum have announced they’ll be conducting special Distracted Driving Enforcement Patrols in Kankakee, Ford and Iroquois Counties tonight. The special patrols are designed to focus on distracted driving laws. Troopers will be on the lookout for drivers that disobey distracted driving laws, especially when it comes to the use of electronic devices while driving. The special patrols are paid for with funds from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
