A Portage, Indiana woman has been sentenced to 4 months in prison and four months of home detention and two years of probation after pleading guilty to wire fraud. 43 year old Jessica Guska took the funds from a Cedar Lake Based Girls Softball Club. Guska managed finances for Riptide Travel Softball. The funds were siphoned off between August of 2018 and October of 2019 and was used to pay her healthcare costs, property taxes and vacations. She must also pay restitution in the amount of 29,490 dollars.
