14 Year Old Arrested at BBCHS for Possession of a Firearm

A 14 year old was arrested Monday morning at Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School allegedly in possession of a gun. At approximately 07:25 Monday morning, the Bradley Police Department was notified of a BBCHS student in possession of a firearm.  Bradley Police Officers, including the School Resource Officer and Detectives,  met with BBCHS Administrators who were able to locate the Student, interview him and discovered a firearm in the students’ book bag; all without incident.  Bradley Police took custody of the 14 year old male and transported him to the Bradley PD for Juvenile Arrest Procedures and say the circumstances of the incident are still being investigated but there are no indications that any further threat persists.
